Walter Winson Schenck, Jr.

Walter W. Schenck, Jr., 97, of Denver, passed away June 17, 2011. Walter was a Marine during WWII in the 3rd Infantry Division, was a life-member and Past President of Denver Mile-Hi SERTOMA. and was active in other civic organizations. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; one daughter Melanie Lea; brother Robert; sister Billie. Survived by one daughter, Heidi (Larry) Ratliff; 3 grandchildren Kristi (Rob) McWhorter, Stephen (Heather) Ratliff & Brian (Brandi) Ratliff & 7 great-grandchildren, one brother Roswell (Marian) Schenck; many nieces and nephews.
