Waldo Aguilar

On Friday, January 27th, 2023, Waldo H. Aguilar, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 57.

Waldo was born on February 9th, 1965 in Sonsonate, El Salvador to Amado Castellanos and LucÍa Aguilar. He grew up in Los Angeles, CA and was a restaurant manager for more than 30 years. In 1992, he married Aurora Toscano Aguilar. They raised two children, Jasmine and Anthony Aguilar.

Waldo was a child at heart and had a passion for sports. He loved to be active; he played football and ran track as a teen, loved playing basketball for fun as a young adult, and was always proudly sporting his Lakers, Raiders, and Dodgers gear. He was a lover of music, dancing, and spicy food. He was known for his lively spirit, his generous heart, and his many jokes and pranks.

Waldo was preceded in death by his mom, LucÍa Aguilar. He is survived by his wife, Aurora Toscano Aguilar, his two children, Jasmine and Anthony Aguilar, his sisters Dorotea Rodriguez, Marta Castellanos, LucÍa O. Aguilar, his brother Alberto Castellanos, and several nieces, and nephews that he loved very much.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at Horan & McConaty on Grant Street at 4:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 5:00 PM. Flowers or donations may be sent to 9998 Grant St. Thornton, CO.
