Waldemar Winzent

February 18, 1928 — August 17, 2021

Waldemar Winzent, “Walter” 93, contributed to the Denver skyline working as a welder on the iconic “Union Station” sign, window arches and numerous metro Denver projects.

He is survived by his children Laraine Hill (Michael), Annette Dichard (Robert), and Christine Smith (Duane), his three grandchildren; Travis, Nicole and Katie, and his sister Elizabeth Burns (Kenneth).

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Maria Winzent and his siblings Antonia Pawlyshyn and Anton Winzent.
