Virginia C Ritton Stingel (Ginnie) was born to Claude and Frances Ritton on October 2nd, 1932 in Kingston, NY. She passed peacefully on December 10, 2025 with her husband of 72 years by her side. After graduating from Kingston High School, Ginnie worked at DeLaval. She married the love of her life, Henry Stingel (Hank), on April 12, 1953. They moved to Hurley, NY and started their family shortly after. Throughout the years, Ginnie enjoyed gardening, drawing, making dried flower arrangements, reading, raising miniature schnauzers. She eventually operated her own dog grooming business for many years. Afterward, she was the bookkeeper for The Giving Tree, Kingston, NY. Ginnie and Hank loved traveling and traveled extensively. In 2012, they made the decision to move to Broomfield, Co., where they explored and enjoyed many years together. Ginnie is survived by her husband, Hank Stingel, son, Kevin Stingel and wife Ann, daughter, Tammy Jordan and husband Ronnie, and predeceased by son, Dana Stingel. Grandchildren include: Justin Stingel, Chelsea Stingel, Brianna Laughlin, Amanda Samy, Matthew Stingel, Shane Jordan and Jesse Jordan and 8 great grandchildren. Arrangements to be announced at a later date. The family would like to acknowledge and offer our sincere gratitude to Bloom Hospice, Wheat Ridge, Co. for their support, love and care given to Ginnie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA or your local Hospice.
