Virginia Irene Goreski

Goreski, Virginia Irene (Hart), 95, most beloved wife of Paul M. Goreski, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2014. Born May 18, 1919 in Petersburg, IN to Canzada and Jeremiah Hart. She grew up on the family farm near Oakland City, IN with her brother Jack D. Hart and graduated from Winslow High School in 1937. She obtained a nursing degree from St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, IN on September 25, 1940 and moved to Denver to work as a registered nurse at St. Anthony's Hospital. A dedicated mother and wife who was a great cook, talented seamstress and loved to do crossword puzzles. Virginia is survived by her husband of 67 years Paul M. Goreski of Denver, CO, son John A. Goreski (Laura) of Berthoud, CO, daughter Jane E. Goreski of Denver, CO and granddaughter Zoe D. Goreski of Berthoud, CO. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made in Virginia's name to any organization that cares for animals or the homeless.
