Vincent John Brush

Vincent (Vince) Brush passed away the 23rd day of July 2026. He was born November 22, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Elizabeth and Leonard Brush. Vince is survived by Jackson Brush and Colton Brush (sons); Tamara Brush Combs, Kathi Hodgson, and Vicki Brewer (sisters), and Jennifer Brush Rawley, Jessica Yazdi (nieces), Justin Brewer, CJ Brush, Andy Combs, and Matthew Brewer (nephews). He is preceded in death by Elizabeth Brush (mother); Leonard Brush (father), Terry Brush (brother), and Kristin Brush (niece).

Vince will be remembered as a devoted father, gifted teacher, trusted coach, and thoughtful friend whose presence made others feel encouraged, capable, and seen. He had a rare gift for making learning joyful and engaging—not only for his sons, but for everyone fortunate enough to be around him. That same gift was evident in the way he coached, listened, encouraged, and brought out the best in others.

Above all, the truest measure of Vince’s life was the love he gave to his two sons, Jackson and Colton. He supported them with pride, humor, patience, and deep devotion, especially in the moments and activities that mattered most to them. That love will remain with them always, shaping their memories, guiding their lives, and carrying his spirit forward.

Vince also possessed a quiet wit—subtle, understated, and always perfectly timed—that brought warmth and laughter to those who knew him best. His humor was never forced; it arrived gently, often at just the right moment, and reflected the kindness and intelligence that defined him.

Professionally, Vince was a respected corporate consultant, leadership coach, and speaker whose work helped individuals and organizations grow. Through 3Qs Corporate Consulting, Vistage, and decades of leadership development experience, he became known for his hands-on approach, thoughtful insight, and ability to strengthen teams, improve communication, and help leaders act with clarity and purpose. He shared a belief that leadership was defined not by title, but by behavior, character, and care for others.

Vince earned his BA in Business/Psychology from Penn State University and remained a devoted Penn State fanatic. He carried that same energy into his lifelong commitment to physical fitness, personal growth, and helping others become their best selves. For eight years, he volunteered with the Arapahoe County Youth League, coaching football, baseball, and basketball. He was actively involved in helping his two sons and their teammates develop into dedicated athletes who understood the value of hard work, teamwork, and excellent sportsmanship. Those who knew him will remember his steady encouragement, understated humor, generous spirit, and the meaningful way he connected with people in every part of his life.

Vince’s legacy lives on in his sons, in the lives he shaped, the leaders he guided, and the laughter and love he shared. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

May Vince’s sons, family, friends, colleagues, and all who loved him find comfort in the memories they shared, and may they carry forward his kindness, humor, encouragement, and unwavering belief in the people around him. He often reminded his sons that, “Brush’s Never Give Up,” a simple phrase that reflected the way he lived—with perseverance, courage, and a spirit that never gave up.

A memorial service will be held at a future date with family and friends.
