Vernon Dean Rohrer

Vernon Dean Rohrer born June 16, 1950 to Walter R Rohrer, Jr., and Jean E. Dinsmore in Denver, Colorado. Entered into eternal peace on November 6, 2017 in Westminster, Colorado surrounded by his loving family. He graduated from North High School in 1968. He met the love of his life Candy C Barritt in December 1968. They were united in marriage on September 29, 1969. He worked at Cole Manufacturing / AL Machinery for 43 years. In his free time he did search and rescue for Sankey, was an EMT Ambulance driver for car races and concerts at Red Rocks. He was the President of Shaw Heights Little League Baseball. He loved being a Master Hunter Education Instructor and passing on his knowledge to others of hunting. He was an active member for years of Columbine Archery. He volunteered thought out his children’s school years at their school doing various activities and events. He ended his free time umpiring softball games with Softball County and PROS. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Candy, his sisters Valerie and Kathy, his four children Jeffery (Sheila), Gregory (Jody), Candice, Bradley (Joyce); twelve grandchildren Cassandra, Kristin, Anthony, Jasmine, Wayne, Shilo, Brittany, Alannah, Katie, Dylan, Lily and Christopher, one great child Melody his mother-in-law Blanche sister-in-law Karen, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Walter, mother Jean, brother Rick, grandson Tristan, step-father Lee and brother-in-law Donnie. A Memorial service for Vernon Dean will be held November 10, 2017, at 4:00 pm at First Southern Baptist Church 10620 Washington Ave. Please share your memories of Vernon Dean & condolences with his family by visiting the guestbook below.
