Vance Larimer

Vance Larimer, beloved husband, father, coach, and friend, passed away on November 15, 2025. He was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in 1965 to Russel and Marcia Larimer. At just two years old, Vance moved with his family to Colorado, the place that would shape his childhood, his passions, and ultimately the life he built.

A lifelong athlete, Vance excelled in many sports. He made the Colorado World Series team, but football was always his greatest love. He played at Cherry Creek High School, where he supported the Fred Tesson Foundation-an early sign of the dedication and generosity that would characterize his life. His teammates and classmates became lifelong friends, drawn not only to his loyalty and warmth but also to his sharp wit and the humor he carried effortlessly into every room.

Vance attended Colgate University in upstate New York, graduating cum laude, and building friendships that endured for decades. His time there shaped both his academic path and the lifelong values he brought into his professional and personal life.

After graduating, Vance began his professional journey as a sports agent, advocating for athletes with genuine care and determination. Building on that foundation, he became a published attorney and founded his own law firm, where he established a reputation for excellence, integrity, and unwavering commitment to his clients. His legal accomplishments were widely recognized-he was honored as a Colorado Super Lawyer and was rated among America's Top 100 Attorneys, distinctions that reflected his exceptional skill, dedication, and leadership within the legal community.

Vance poured his heart into giving back, supporting and leading numerous charitable organizations throughout his life, including the Chris Rule Foundation, the Fred Tesson Foundation, and the Ranch 12 Foundation.

Above all, Vance's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his wife, Meredith, and their four children-Landon, Brayden, Lilly, and Luke-who were the center of his world. His home was made even brighter by his beloved doodles, TJ and Mavie, whose playful energy matched his own sense of fun and filled his days with laughter. Vance continued his lifelong love of football by coaching at the high school level, guiding young players with the same passion, humor, and integrity that marked every chapter of his life.

Vance Larimer will be remembered for his kindness, his leadership, his generosity, and his remarkable ability to make people laugh. His legacy lives on in the communities he served, the young people he mentored, and the countless lives he touched.Funeral Service Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 11:00 am, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S.
