Trudy Drew

Trudy Anne Warren Drew, 79, of Highlands Ranch, CO passed away on June 25, 2024. Trudy was born on August 27, 1944 in Denver, CO to Edgar and Gladys Warren.

Trudy lovingly raised her three children Michael (Lisa) Sovereign, Kimberly (Paul) Samar and Tia (Lee) Tompkins. She has five grandchildren, Cassandra (Peter) Konicek, Stephanie Samar, Shawn Samar, Brennon Tompkins and Emerson Tompkins, as well as two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Claire Konicek.

Trudy is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her brothers Robert (Marjorie) Warren, Paul Warren, and sister Mary (Rick Kirkpatrick) Jeffreys and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Trudy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma, sharing stories about each and every one of them all the time. She had a wonderful personality and constantly teased, joked and laughed with everyone. She was a very talented artist. She loved painting everything she could get her hands on, and would always gift her work to family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing and many other crafts. She took pride in her home and her garden.

Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her children, strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held on August 27, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the American Cancer Society or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
