Troy Morley, 60, passed away at his home in Highlands Ranch, CO, on May 3, 2026. Troy is survived by his wife, Maureen; his daughter, Kinsey Matetich; his mother, Susan Austin; his sister, Staci Morley-Young and niece, Maureen Martin. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene.
Born on September 8, 1965, in Riverside, CA, Troy pursued his passion for learning, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He furthered his education by obtaining an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver. For the last 20 years, Troy dedicated his career to Frost and Sullivan covering 5G as the Principal Analyst.
Troy will be remembered as a loving husband and father, a loyal friend, a devoted Broncos fan, and a dog lover. He loved to play card games with friends and family, enjoy a delicious meal, or sit and drink a beer at his favorite local brewery. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories of his dry humor, love, and incredibly big heart will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His compassion and generous spirit continue through his organ donation, leaving a lasting impact on others.
A memorial service is planned for Monday, May 18th at 11am at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, CO 80122. A reception to follow at Lone Tree Brewing Company, 8200 Park Meadows Dr #8222, Lone Tree, CO 80124.
