Travis Benjamin Fincher was a loyal husband, father, son, brother, friend, and proud Colorado native who always knew how to have a hell of a time. He was born on March 5, 1991, and passed away May 20, 2026, at the age of 35. He is survived by his wife, Katie, daughter, Ariya, and step-son, Colt, as well as his mother, Annette, father, Phil (Duaan), sister, Hannah (Andy), and step-brothers, Ricky and Preston.
Travis instantly charmed anyone he talked to, and he brought the party wherever he went. He loved hockey, starting on the ice at the age of four, and by 13 he was a skilled defensive player with a power slap shot. His favorite place was outside in nature, whether he was snowboarding, camping, fishing, or attending music festivals with his large group of friends. That is if he wasn't inside watching an Avalanche game. Even going so far as not to cut his beard during playoff season. He was an amazing cook and grill master, an experienced welder, and on his way to becoming an electrician.
More than anything, Travis will be remembered for his big heart and hugs. He would stop at nothing to protect the people he cared about, and his greatest joy in life was becoming a father in July of 2024. He finally had everything he ever wanted, a beautiful family. He will be missed by the many who loved him and believed in him, but we can all rest easy knowing that he is watching over us, keeping us safe.
Travis overcame many challenges in his short life, but he never stopped fighting for something more. He is now at peace, celebrating with his friends and family that have preceded him in death.
