Tony Earl Mussaw

Tony E. Mussaw, age 52, died Tuesday October 28th at his home in Lakewood, Colorado. Tony was born in Middlebury, Vermont on April 1, 1962. He was the son of Oscar D. and Cynthia J. (Moore) Mussaw. He attended Leicester central in his youth. Graduating from Otter Valley Union High School, class of 1980. Following in his fathers' footsteps, Tony enlisted in the armed services. Serving with the United States Air Force, stationed in both Korea as well as Nellis A.F.B, NV receiving several award clusters. Following his honorable discharge in 1987, he returned to Vermont to be near his family and start his career path in transportation. On June 14, 1996, he married his wife of 18 years, Conni Lynn Franz. They made their life in Aurora, Co, with their two sons James and Jeff. Tony held various transportation roles at Steele Inc., TRA Auctions and AirGas. He found enjoyment in cooking, music and trivia. Tony is survived by his ex-wife Conni Franz of Aurora, Co; two sons, James Mussaw and Jeff Franz of Aurora, Co; two sisters, Melody (DeeDee) Gearwar and her husband Robert of Leicester, Linda Carey and her husband James of Leicester; three nephews, Robert, Joseph and Gavin Gearwar; and one niece, Renee Ellis. He was predeceased by his parents, Oscar (12.15.09), Cindy (3.29.09) and his sister Gloria (12.18.97). A private family service will be held in December at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon followed by a ""Celebration of his life"" gathering.
