Tony Aragon was born on August 4, 1932 in a small town called Sapello, near Las Vegas, New Mexico. He was born to Jose Dario Aragon and Casimira Vigil. He had 3 sisters, Alice (Lawrence) Carillo, Jeannie DeAragon, Priscilla (Tony) Trujillo and 1 brother George (Carmen) Aragon. Tony moved to Brighton, Colorado at the age of 5 where he attended school and graduated from Brighton High School in 1950. After high school, he began working for Cudahy Packing Company in Denver, Colorado. He worked there until September 1952 when he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After his duty with the Air Force, he returned to work for Cudahy Packing Company.
In 1954, he met MaryEllen Zuniga. They were married on January 22, 1955. They were married for 70 years. Tony continued with his job at Cudahy and retired in 1983 with 33 years of service. After his retirement, he started working with the Adams County Five Star Schools and retired in 1997 with 13 years of service.
Tony and MaryEllen made their home in Northglenn, Colorado for 59 years, where they raised their 3 children. Some of Tony's favorite hobbies were Fishing, Camping, Golfing and Gardening. But his favorite past time was spending time with his 3 children: Beverly (Ray) Jaramillo, Myra (John) Scott, Mark (Alison) Aragon and his 6 grandchildren (Nicole, Shannon, Kelly, Vance, Brittany and Brandon) and 6 great-grandchildren (Haydon, Kellan, Evan, Andrew, Brody, and Gwen).
