Tom Glasmann

September 5, 1947 — March 20, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tom Glasmann on March 20th due to complications from emergency heart surgery. Tom was born on September 5, 1947, to Kenneth and Lucille Glasmann.

He graduated from Arvada West High School in 1965, then pursued his passion for education at Colorado State College, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1969. In 1971, he obtained a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.

On June 6th, 1970, Tom married Kathleen, his loving partner for 53 years. Tom's dedication extended beyond his family; for three decades, he imparted his knowledge at Wasson High School in Colorado Springs. He not only taught, but also sponsored student organizations and coached boys' and girls' golf teams.

Tom was a devoted father to his daughter Mindy, sharing a passion for golf. He took immense pride in watching her excel in golf tournaments, and carrying forward his teaching legacy. His joy expanded with the arrival of his grandchildren, Lily and Carson, whom he adored watching compete in swimming and soccer.

Tom was deeply passionate about golf and actively engaged in several senior men's golfing groups. He cherished his time on the greens, particularly at Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, and always found joy at Top Golf. Alongside his wife and family, Tom embarked on many travels throughout the country, journeying in their motorhome and enjoying vacations cruising to various ports of call. For 15 wonderful years, Tom and Kathy embraced the Arizona sunbird lifestyle. Additionally, Tom honed his skills in smoking meats, mastering the art to perfection.

Tom is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Mindy (Tom Rosh), grandchildren Lily and Carson Rosh, and siblings Michael Glasmann, Jim Glasmann, and Mary Haack.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Tom will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew him.
