Timothy Michael Harendt

Timothy Michael Harendt, beloved husband, uncle, son, and friend, passed away on September 6, 2026, at his home in Denver, Colorado, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on November 21, 1981, in Lubbock, Texas, to Michael and Susie Harendt.

Tim grew up and attended schools in Lubbock. He graduated from Coronado High School in 2000. After graduation, he attended college at Hardin-Simmons University, graduating with a degree in finance and economics in 2004. It was during this time that he met his best friend and eventual wife, Shaunda. The two were friends for several years before marrying in 2008.

Family and friends were an extremely important part of Tim’s life. He loved spending time with his own nieces and nephews, as well as being an honorary uncle to so many friends’ kids. Tim left his mark with his involvement in leadership training, customer service, and financial education. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Denver Church, where he served in many capacities. He could often be found helping friends and neighbors, connecting with others through working on his classic Bronco, or supporting various college athletics. Always a leader and mentor, Tim worked as an Onboarding Team Leader in Client Services at Fidelity Investments at the time of his death.

Tim is survived by his wife, Shaunda Eady Harendt; parents Michael and Susie Harendt of Lubbock, TX; brothers Tommy (Anji) Loveless of Angel Fire, NM and Tyler (Mindy) Harendt of Idalou, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 18 at 10:00 am at Fellowship Denver Church, 1990 S Broadway in Denver. An additional memorial service will be held in Texas at a later date.

One of Tim’s most outstanding God-given characteristics was his generosity. In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to choose financial generosity to your favorite charity or consider donating blood or platelets in Tim’s memory.
