Thomas Viktor Miller (Tom) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away tragically on May 4, 2025, at the age of 49 doing what he loved; helping others. He was born in California on August 11, 1975, to Robert Miller and Rebecca Boswell. He was the oldest of two children. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, where he attended North High School. His 4x400 relay team won state in track and field, and he graduated in1994.
While working at a local restaurant in college, he met his future wife, Melissa. He earned a Business Management degree from Arizona State University. After college, they moved to Highlands Ranch, CO and were married on October 11, 2008. Tom was a Regional Manager for Performance Radiator for over 20 years. He was a member of Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch.
Tom loved the outdoors and living in Colorado gave him the opportunity to enjoy nature year-round. Some of his favorite activities were fishing with his boys, hiking in the mountains, and camping. He loved his family more than anything and his legacy will live on through his children. We will always remember Tom for his giving heart and generosity.
Whether family, friend, neighbor, or stranger, Tom lived to serve others. Anytime anyone needed anything at all, they could always know that Tom was there to lend a hand with any task no matter how big or small. The loss of Tom has left a huge hole in our hearts, and we will miss him dearly.
Tom is survived by his wife Melissa, and three sons Liam, Cameron and Drew; brother Jason of Portland, OR; father-in law and mother in-law Greg and Patrice Alexander of Crystal Lake, IL; sister in-law Angela (Lehn) Shepherd of Crystal Lake, IL; brother in-law Ryan (Monica) Van Overbeke of Chicago, IL; brother in law Nick (Noa) Alexander of San Antonio, TX; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brother in-law Ben Alexander.
A celebration of life will take place at Cherry Hills Community Church 3900 Grace Blvd, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 4:30 PM, with a reception to follow. Donations in Tom’s honor can be made directly to the family for the ongoing support of Liam, Cameron, and Drew.
