Thomas (Tom) Michael Costigan fell asleep in the Lord, May 6th, 2025 at the age of 84.
Born in Milwaukee, WI to James and Kathryn Costigan. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Daniel, and special stepfather Joseph.
Survived and deeply missed by his loving wife, Jane (nee Pazalos) of nearly 58 years.
His memory lives on with his nieces: Colleen and Kelly as well as grandnieces and nephews: Robert, Noel, Daniel, Anna, Joshua, and Faith. “Adoptive” daughter Heidi Elam held a special place in his heart.
We are grateful for his caring and amazing cousins and special, “Railroad Friends.”
He was deeply proud of his Irish and Croatian heritage. Tom’s lifelong dream was to be a railroad engineer. When that was not possible, he did the next best thing, and had his own live steam locomotive he could ride on along with many extraordinarily hard-built railroad cars.
Tom was a long time member of Colorado Live Steamer and Train Collectors of America. He loved to share his extensive knowledge of trains and was a talented builder.
