Thomas Joseph Stanton passed away on December 12th, 2025. He was born in Dallas, Texas on November 4th, 1960 to John Stanton, Sr. and Audrey Stanton. He was the youngest of three brothers. Tom primarily lived in the states of New Mexico, California, Georgia, and especially in Colorado where he liked to backpack and ski. He was also a marathon runner, a great conversationalist, enjoyed road trips and going to the movies. While serving in the U.S. Army he was awarded the Army service ribbon, the Army Achievement Medal with one Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Sharpshooter Qualification Badge. After receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, he earned an Associate degree in electronics at Phillips College in Columbus GA and after graduating, put his skillsets to work as an ATM field service technician for companies such as Bank of America, Burroughs, and Red Hawk Fire and Security.
He was a follower of Jesus believing in Him and His promises. Tom will be missed by everyone that knew him well.
A burial service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, Colorado on January 6th at 1:00pm.
