Thomas M. Shipley

Thomas Shipley passed away on October 29, 2019 in Aurora, Colorado. Born on March 21, 1948 in Washington D.C., the son of Dorthy Sullivan and Byron Shipley.

He was a devoted business owner and entrepreneur. He attended Colorado State University where he played Varsity Basketball and obtained his Bachelors of Science.

Tom was a devoted Theta Chi President and Aurora Police Department Volunteer. He also was a graduate of Aurora Police Citizens Academy. During his free time he enjoyed going on nature walks and spending time with his family. He was a kind-hearted honorable man who loved his family, his granddaughters were the light of his life.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Shipley; son, Chad Shipley; daughter, Lindsay Shipley; and son & daughter-in-law, Justin and Melissa Shipley.

Tom was preceded in death by his brother Richard Shipley.
