Thomas (Tom) Roger Heydman passed away May 9, 2025. Tom was born in Des Moines Iowa February 28th 1938. He grew up in Omaha Nebraska where he developed a love for golf and bird hunting, two hobbies he would enjoy through his life. Tom graduated from Colorado University. After graduating Tom spent the 1960s starting a family, traveling selling dairy products and serving in the Air National Guard. In the early 70s he moved to Colorado turned to the automotive industry and never looked back eventually owning his own car dealership. Tom took pride in knowing his employees and clients, treating everyone with fairness and respect. Over the years Tom was well traveled seeing many parts of the world and enjoyed national parks. After retiring in 1996 Tom would use his time to follow sports, taking his dog Piper hunting and most importantly to him spending time with friends and family. Tom loved to listen to people, tell stories and reminisce. He will be remembered by friends and family for his kindness. He is survived by his loving wife Rosemary Heydman. His children and their families, whom he was very proud of also survive, Chris (Karen) Heydman, Craig Heydman, Kirk Heydman, and Laurie Heydman; stepson, Sam (Heather) Schetter; grandchildren, Corlin (Emily) Heydman, Madeline and Zane Schetter; and great-grandchildren, Chiron and Philyra Heydman. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of life and interment will occur on May 27th, 10:00 AM at Horan & McConaty at 5303 E County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122. Family and friends are welcome.
