Thomas J. Bosco

Thomas J. Bosco, age 82, died in his home in Highlands Ranch, CO surrounded by his wife, daughter, and son on August 21, 2024. Tom was born in Brooklyn and moved to Bethpage, NY in 1955. Eventually settling in Littleton, CO in 1978. He was a graduate of Bethpage High School. After graduation he attended the Academy of Aeronautics. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Engineering at the University of Bridgeport. 

Tom started his aerospace engineering career at Grumman, moved to Sanders Associates, and then Martin Marietta (Lockeed) in 1978 where the pinnacle 0f his career was working on the astronaut’s man maneuvering unit (MMU). He went on to retired in 1998 from Martin Marietta. During his retirement, Tom went on to become a licensed Massage Therapist, Yoga, Exercise, and Reiki instructor and opened his own wellness company, Fit Start Now.

Tom was known to always have a smile and was kind to everyone he met. He was funny and was loved by all that knew him. He loved his music and playing the guitar, building and flying his model airplanes, and just being with his family.

Tom is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marie Cositore Bosco, and their two children Tommy, Christine Salvi and her husband Fred and their five grandchildren Andrew, Lauren, Anthony, Tommy, and Marissa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Rachel Bosco and his sister Joanne.

Funeral Services will take place at Horan & McConaty in Centennial, CO on Wednesday 8/28 with visitation from 2-4pm and 5-8pm. Rosary at 3pm. Tom will be laid to rest on Thursday 8/29 at 10am at the Cedar Hills Cemetery in Castle Rock. Lunch will follow the burial at Romano’s Italian Restaurant 5666 S. Windermere, Littleton, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brents Place (www.brentsplace.org).
