Therese Ellen Tomlin “Terri”, age 71 of Arvada, died peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family, on July 10, 2024. Terri was born November 7, 1952, to James and Ruth Ellen Tomlin. Terri was raised in a loving home with her 6 siblings in Littleton, Colorado where she attended and graduated from Littleton High School in 1970.
In 1980, Terri married Richard Gomez and settled in Boulder, Colorado. Together, they shared two children, Richard and Lisa. Terri was a loving Mother who devoted her life to raising her children. Once time away allowed, Terri worked administration positions at various businesses until retiring in 2017.
During her life, Terri enjoyed spending time with her family, holiday gatherings, going to her parent's cabin, and playing board games. Terri was an avid “Days of our Lives” and “Friends” fan. She loved watching the Denver Broncos and was often heard yelling at the TV on gameday.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents, James Tomlin and Ruth Ellen Tomlin (nee Weadick). Terri is survived by her two children, Lisa Gomez, Ricky Gomez (Sarah); by her 9 Grandchildren Hailey Tumbleson, Taylor Orcholski, Maggie Davis, Kelsey Gomez, Aaron Gomez, Jason Gomez, Mckenah Auten, Brady Gomez, and Ritchie Gomez; and by her Greatgrandchild, Jaxson Tumbleson. Terri is also survived by siblings, Dennis Tomlin (Kathy), Kathy Tomlin, Michelle Morgan (Curt), Tom Tomlin, Maureen Beaty (Mike), and Chris Tomlin (Barb).
A celebration of life will be held September 1, 2024 in Arvada, Colorado. Memories of Terri will be cherished by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
