Theresa Waites

Theresa succumbed to her battle with aortic valve regurgitation, chronic kidney disease, and colorectal cancer at noon on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

 

She was born to Frank Bartman (1892-1956) and Sophie Szostak (1903-1977).

The youngest of siblings Mary (1921-2014), John (1924-2007), Michael (1925-1996), Margaret (1929-2004), and Peter (1932-present), Theresa graduated from Saint Mary High School, Class of 1952 (Rev. L. H. Soest). She married Dale John Waites (1930-1993) and is survived by her sons Vincent and Bradley.

 

Theresa found companionship with canines; wished for high adventure; was fascinated with all things created in the world; encouraged artistry and creativity in others; wanted flowers to always be in bloom; believed in recreating one’s self; proved to be surprisingly imaginative and unpredictable; advocated family gatherings; always sided with her family; and loved her children most of all.
