Terry John Baird

Terry John Baird, aged 74, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025. He was born on November 29, 1950, and leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and community spirit.

Terry graduated from Englewood High in 1968 and earned an associate’s degree in business from Arapahoe Community College. He dedicated 20 years to customer service at Gates Rubber Company, where his commitment and warmth touched many lives.

Beyond his professional achievements, Terry was a passionate enthusiast of big rig trucking, football (a devoted Broncos fan), and family vacations. He found joy in camping, fishing, and was a proud participant in the handicap skiing program. Terry was a very creative problem solver.

A devoted family man, Terry is survived by his sons, Jeffery Wade Baird and James Walter Baird, and his daughter, Jennifer Kae Baird. He also leaves behind his grandson, Cameron Norman Thomas, as well as his sisters: Pamela May King, Penny Ann O’Brian, and Patti Kate Houghton. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Gayle Baird and Donald Clair Baird.

Terry will be remembered for his kind heart, creative spirit, and the cherished memories he created with those he loved. A celebration of his life will be held to honor his remarkable journey.
