In Loving Memory of Teresa Ann "Terry" Spindler

If you knew her as a child or a member of her family, she was Terry Ann. If you knew her as a friend, she was Teresa A. If you knew her in the 1990s, you probably called her TAB. To her co-workers, nieces and nephews, and so many dear friends, she was simply Terry.

But the two names she treasured most were reserved for those she loved beyond measure: Mom and Nana.

While Terry achieved many professional accomplishments throughout her life, she measured her success not by titles or awards, but by the love of her family. She was most proud to be a daughter, a sister, a mother, a Nana, and an aunt. Her family was the center of her world, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with those she loved.

Terry was an entrepreneur long before it became commonplace. In the 1980s, she followed her passion and launched her own interior design business, combining creativity with an incredible eye for beauty. She later built a successful career in Strategic Marketing at US West, where her intelligence and work ethic earned the respect of colleagues. She also became an exceptionally accomplished grant writer for the State of Colorado, using her remarkable ability with words to help secure funding for programs that made a difference in the lives of others.

Anyone who knew Terry also knew her love language was hospitality. She had an extraordinary talent for cooking and entertaining, and her home was often filled with the aroma of something delicious, the sound of laughter, and the warmth that made everyone feel welcome. Whether preparing a holiday feast, hosting family gatherings, or sharing a meal around the table, she created memories that her family and friends will carry with them forever.

More than anything, Terry will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She celebrated life's milestones, comforted those in need, cheered on her children and grandchildren, and made every person she cared about feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Her legacy is not only in what she accomplished, but in the family she nurtured, the friendships she cherished, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that the love Terry shared continues to live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be profoundly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She is survived by her daughter, Devin Storms (Damon) and son Robb Sterling, and her 5 grandchildren, Brooke, Petra, Aaron, Evan, and Beckham. She is also survived by her 9 siblings, Jim, Jeanne, Peggy, Bill, Bob, Mike, Cory, Greg, and Ginny, and many loved nieces and nephews.
