Sylvia Margaret Sivill was born on July 21, 1933. Sally is survived by her nieces, Sarah and Helen and her nephews, Stephen, Lindsay and Matthew; and her great nephews, Nick, James, Jack and Joseph; her great great nephews, Max, Evan, Lucas, Ted and great great niece Winnie.

Sylvia (aka "Sally"), lived a full life marked by resilience, curiosity, and deep connection to her family, friends and many beloved pets.

Growing up near London during World War II, she experienced history firsthand, often sharing entertaining stories of the adventures she and her two sisters, Jessie and Eleanor, shared during those tumultuous times.

She met and married Larry Sivill in Luton England . A marriage of opposites, Sally brought levity and friends into their life while Larry brought focus and pragmatism to their many endeavors and adventures. Shortly after their nuptials, they moved to the United States, first settling in Nebraska, where Sally famously could hardly believe the heat. Later, they made their permanent home in Denver, Colorado.

Sally began her professional career as a secretary with First Industrial Fund, where she met a number of her forever friends. After several years, she moved on to Mountain Bell, where she built a successful career and ultimately retired as a contract manager.

Despite her busy work life, she found time to stay closely connected to her roots, returning to England every third year, where she spent time with precious family and friends. In retirement, she spent time teaching immigrants English and found deep satisfaction knowing she was helping others to establish themselves in the United States. She also volunteered for the Democratic party. Retirement was not all work and no play for Sally. She and Larry celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a memorable Alaskan cruise, and she pursued her personal interests with fearless joy. She loved art classes, french classes, cooking, skiing, golfing, bridge, bowling and, especially in later years, she loved playing Mexican Train. She had a deep affection for animals, delighted in Christmas, and found great happiness in dining out.

She will be remembered for her warmth, independence, and zest for life, as well as her enduring love for family and friends,
