Sylvia Schmitt

Sylvia Rose Schmitt, 85, walked on November 21, 2021 at ManorCare in Boulder Colorado. Born in Cheboygan Michigan, she was the daughter of Ella Ekeberg and Orville Pries.

She was married to Don Milsten for 27 years and is survived by their three children; son Dan Milsten, and daughters Jana Milsten and Amy Wagner, three grandchildren; Jacob Milsten, Lucas Milsten and Trevor Milsten and her twin brother, Stan Pries.

She was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Robert Schmitt, two brothers; Seymour Pries and Sidney Pries and daughter Della Milsten.

There will be no service so instead remembrances can be made in the form of enjoying a root beer float or a song played on a baby grand piano…or both! Turn up the jazz and open the windows. Or if it’s too cold just rattle ‘em. Make some cozy potato soup or some iced coffee…preferably from coffee concentrate. Or think of her when you see a blooming rose or pet a purring kitty. It will be easy to carry her kindness and love in our hearts, throughout our days and into eternity.
