Sylvia Ponicsan

Sylvia Ponicsan, age 82 left this world on February 28th to join her loving God in His eternal world. She was the devoted wife of Robert Ponicsan Sr. for the past 61 years and also the Mother of four sons and their wives, Robert (Lynda), Steven (Michele), Paul (Beverly) and David (Blessing). She was blessed to have eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She cared deeply for her family. Born in Buffalo, NY in 1932, she married in 1954 during her husband's Naval Service. One of her proudest accomplishments was the many years she participated in the Cub and Boy Scouting programs in which all four sons participated, two reaching the rank of Eagle Scout. As an avid craft hobbyist, she had a passion for designing and creating miniature quilts and enjoyed making porcelain dolls. Before moving to Colorado in 2000, she previously lived in Buffalo NY, Nashville TN, Clearwater FL and Dallas TX. She will be greatly missed by her husband and family. Her wish was for a private ceremony with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, a donation maybe made in Sylvia's name to the charity of your choice.
