Suzanne O'Toole

On April 19, 2023, Suzanne M (Willard) O’Toole, 91, passed to eternal life in Aurora, CO. She was born in Yakima, WA on April 4, 1932, the middle child of three, to the late Floyd W and Marie A (O’Hara) Willard. Growing up, Suzanne was an accomplished equestrian becoming Yakima County Rodeo Queen just before leaving to join the US Air Force.  She was a widow to the late Ret. Major Francis C O’Toole (2010) whom she met while serving in the US Air Force. Together they raised 4 daughters (Bridget, Faith, Moira, and Sheila) and 7 sons (Brian, Sean, Barry, Rory, Darin, Kelan, and Michael).  She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Francis (2010), son Sean (2013), and brother Bill (1980).  She is survived by 1 brother, Bruce (Lois) Willard of Seattle, WA, 10 children, 20 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren to whom she is leaving a legacy of love for God, family, and country. Rosary will be held at Horan & McConaty’s Chapel (Parker & E Dartmouth) Tuesday, April 25th, 6 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 26th, at 10 A.M. at St. Therese Church (1243 Kingston St, Aurora).  Private burial will be held at Ft. Logan Cemetery at a future date.
