Susan Otto

December 8, 1950 — March 22, 2025

Littleton

Susan was born on December 8, 1950 in Beacon, NY to Raymond and Peg Lindauer. She grew up in New Jersey with her older sister Judy where she graduated from Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Texas Arlington. She settled in Colorado and started working for Littleton Public Schools in the 1990's.

Sue retired from LPS in 2016 and became an active volunteer with the Littleton Police Department. She joined the Littleton Police Citizens Academy Alumni Association and Friends of Littleton K9, as well as being a Community Safety Volunteer. Sue especially loved the K-9 dogs, as she loved all animals. She was known as "Auntie Sue" to many pets and she often looked after many dogs. When she wasn't taking care of animals or working with the police department, she was into knitting, scrapbooking, card making, golfing, playing Bunco, Left Right Center, and cards with her friends. Sue is survived by her sister, Judy Lindauer, her daughter, Megan Sampson (Clayton), and her granddaughters Aida and Evelyn. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy and she attended as many school activities for them that she could. She loved being their Mimi. Sue passed away on March 22, 2025.
