Susan Marie Lussier Andersen

Susan Marie Lussier Andersen passed peacefully, and in the presence of beloved family members on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. She was born December 2, 1953 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts to Marie and Leo Lussier. She is preceded in death by her parents Marie and Leo. Susan was a beacon of light and strength for family and friends. She moved to Colorado in 1992 and lived in the same house in Park Hill for over 20 years. Susan had many friends and many things that she enjoyed doing including traveling, cooking, and visiting family and friends. One of her fondest memories was swimming with a pod of wild dolphins in Hawaii. Susan loved and raised one beautiful son, Tristan, and took loving care of her husband of 29 years, Roy. The Memorial Service for Susan will be Friday, August 19, at Ave Maria Catholic Church, 9056 East Parker Road, Parker, CO 80138. The Service at Ave Maria will begin with a Rosary at 1 PM, followed by the Memorial Mass at 1:30 PM. There will be a reception at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers we are humbly accepting donations for the newly created Susan Marie Lussier Andersen Scholarship for Catholic Education. A scholarship of up to $2, 500.00 will be awarded to an Ave Maria Catholic School family experiencing financial need as a direct result of an illness of a child/sibling/parent (head of household).
