Steven Rocco Polidori, beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12 with family at his side. Steve, as many know him, was born to Louis and Carolyn Polidori on May 2, 1951 in Denver, CO. Steve was a graduate of North High School (1969). He received his B.A. in Political Science and Fine Arts from The University of Colorado in Boulder (1974). Steve went on to receive his JD from University of Denver, College of Law (1977). After working five years prosecuting major felony cases in the Arapahoe County District Attorney's Office, Steve transitioned to Keating, Wagner, Polidori and Free where he practiced as partner for 32 years. As a trial attorney, Steve was recognized as one of America's Best Lawyers and selected repeatedly by his peers as a Colorado Super Lawyer. Steve led a very active life enjoying biking, skiing and traveling with his friends and family. Additionally, he was a gifted artist and avid music lover. Those who knew and worked with Steve will always remember his kindness, quick humor, professionalism, and remarkable dedication to both his family and his clients. Steve was a loving son and devoted father. He leaves behind his mother, Carolyn Polidori, of Denver and his two children, son Louis Polidori and daughter Zoraide Polidori, both of Los Angeles, CA. A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., on Wednesday, September 17, at 11a.m.
