Steven (Steve) Robert Harris, age 65, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away on May 31, 2026. He was born on November 2, 1960, in Denver, Colorado, to Allen and Agnes Harris.

After military service, Steve studied Aerospace Engineering at Metropolitan State College of Denver. He married Kathy on August 26, 1992, and together they enjoyed travelling, gardening and adopting shelter cats and dogs. Steve was fond of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Brothers Redevelopment and Mercy Housing and will be remembered most for his passion for helping communities.

Steve is survived by his wife, Kathy and several siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sandra, and brother, Thomas.

A memorial gathering will be held on June 29, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Those who wish to honor Steve may share a memory or attend the service. Final resting service for Steve will be for immediate family, but a wake gathering will be served for all.
