Steven Anthony Davis-Randall Jr.

Steven Anthony Davis-Randall Jr., of Denver, CO, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1983, in Temple, Texas, as the eldest son of Steven and Annette Davis Sr. As a child, Steven had a deep love for music (especially singing), video games, and spending time outdoors. Many of his happiest childhood memories were made alongside his younger brother, his large extended family, and through active participation in church music programs.

Steven graduated from C.E. Ellison High School in 2001, where he was an enthusiastic member of the Choral Program, Junior ROTC, and the Screaming Eagle Band (performing with the colorguard team “Excalibur”). His passion for music and performance left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him during those years. After graduation, Steven pursued college courses in Business Administration and began his professional journey, working in Killeen, Temple, Austin, and Midland (TX), before eventually settling in Denver, Colorado.

While living in Midland, Texas, Steven met the love of his life, Rodney Randall. Their bond grew not only through shared passions but also through their time working together at Flowerama of Midland. Their love blossomed into a lifelong commitment, culminating in a beautiful wedding on August 20, 2016.

Soon after marrying, Steven and Rodney relocated to Denver, Colorado, where they discovered a deep affection for the Rocky Mountains. Together, they embraced the spirit of adventure, exploring nature, building memories, and cherishing every moment side by side.

Steven will be remembered for his quick wit, generous spirit, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He had a natural ability to connect with people and a sense of humor that could light up any room. Steven cherished time spent with family and friends, whether through a deep conversation, a shared meal, or simply enjoying good music.

Steven is survived by his husband, Rodney Davis-Randall; his parents, Steven and Annette Davis Sr.; his brother, Trenton Davis (Kaitlin) of Allen, TX; and his beloved nieces, Clara and Eleanor Davis. Steven was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Reverend Eddie B. and Clara Coppage Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Roscoe and Melba Olean Davis; his aunt, JoAnn Mathis; and his uncle, Gregory Coppage Sr. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, many cousins, and close friends who will miss him dearly. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Saturday, October 18th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Killeen at 1615 S Fort Hood St, Killeen, TX 76542 .
