Steven Arthur "Art" Stewart, 74, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away on April 23, 2026. He was born in Long Beach, CA, and graduated high school from Tehran American School. In 1975 Art earned a BSc. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and then spent his career drilling oil, gas, and geothermal wells worldwide. Married to Paula Fedec for 47 years, he was a proud Dad to son Jonathan and a loving Papa to Nash (8) and Caelum (5). A devoted Eastern Orthodox Christian, he enjoyed gun collecting, photography, and mentoring younger engineers. Art is survived by Paula, Jonathan, Nash, Caelum, brother Collin, and sister-in-law Sherida. The Trisagion followed by the Funeral Service is at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, on May 18, 2026, at 11:00am. The graveside service is at Chapel Hill at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Art’s name to St. Catherine beautification fund or Tunnels to Towers.
