Steven “Al” Arguello, 77 of Littleton, CO passed away on September 24, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on September 27, 1947 in Denver Colorado, Al was the beloved, husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend who touched many lives with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. He was known for his sense of humor, lack of judgement towards others, dedication to family, friends and Jesus Christ. He was known for his kindness towards everyone he met, and the love and acceptance he gave without hesitation. He carried his devotion into every part of his life – whether at work, home or in church. His family and friends will always remember him for his warmth, laughter, and the way he lifted others with both his words and his actions.
He was a creative spirit with his Native American art, woodwork, or paintings, talents that he passed along to both of his children. He was dedicated to his career as a manager and supportive leader at Reddy Ice, serving the company for 35 years. He was a natural athlete in baseball and softball and a coach for both of his children and many others that he treated as his own.
Steven Albert Arguello is survived by surviving family members, wife, Isabel Arguello, son, Lee Arguello, daughter, Bea Bunt, grandson, Jadon Bunt, sister, Mary Ann Arguello, brother, Tim Arguello and sister, Dolores Romero. He is preceded in death by his parents, Estevan & Corina Arguello and brother, Johnnie Arguello.
Al’s life was a song of faith and love, a hymn of devotion that will forever echo in the hearts of those he touched.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 beginning at 4:00PM until 6:00PM with a Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:00PM both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 10:30AM at Saint Louis Catholic Church, 3310 South Sherman Street, Englewood, Colorado.
Interment will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 1:30PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver. A Reception will immediately follow at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3801 West Ohio Avenue, Denver, Colorado.
