Shirley Joan Rushing

Shirley Rushing, 89, of Littleton, CO. Shirley Rushing was born July 11, 1937 to Stanley and Nannie Otey. She was one of 10 children. She graduated from Denver West High School in 1955. She married her sweetheart, Joe Rushing in 1955 and were married for 49 years. Shirley was a hard worker throughout her life doing payroll and taxes for family and friends. She was a great mom, grandma, great-grandma taking care of everyone selflessly. Shirley believed in an eternal life with Jesus, family and friends. She will be greatly missed. We love you until we see you again. Preceded in death by husband Joe Bailey Rushing; daughter Sandra Joann Rushing; granddaughter Madyson Joann Rushing. Survived by children Brenda (Doug) Mugge, Terry (Michelle) Rushing, Brandon (Katie) Rushing; grandchildren Breanna (Curt) Morris, Cassie (Braden) Vicars, Trenton Rushing, Kolby Rushing; great-grandchildren Summer Sheffield, Crosby Morris, Declan Morris, Jace Vicars.
