Shirley Kitson

Shirley Mae Kitson, age 96, passed away on December 10, 2021. She was born on October 25, 1925 in Oak Creek, Colorado and later was adopted by James and Mary Doyle.

She is survived by her 3 children: Sheila Foster and her husband Mike of Lakewood; Tim Kitson and his wife Carrie Pepler of Thornton; and Cindy Nienaber of Thornton.

She has 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Her husband John (Jack) Kitson preceded her in death on April 24, 2002. They were married for 52 years. Also her brother, James Doyle (Sue) has preceded her.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 30th with a Rosary at 10:00 am followed by Mass at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 1311 Oneida St., Denver.

Burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver at 1:00 pm
