Sharon Elizabeth Medley

Sharon Elizabeth Medley of Aurora, Colorado passed away April 26, 2025. She was born on September 20, 1962, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was a beloved sister and aunt. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington in Seattle and her Masters degree at the University of Maryland.

Sharon had an extensive knowledge of Art and Art History which she enjoyed immensely. She delighted in taking her family to the Art Museums and was always eager to teach them about the history of art. As a Librarian Sharon was an avid reader and enjoyed different authors and topics.

Sharon is survived by her brother Philip Medley, stepmother Becky Carlson, sister-in-law Lisa Medley, sister-in-law Juanita Medley, stepbrother Michael Carlson, stepsister Caryn Carlson, nieces Lucy Medley, Paige Medley, and Caitlin Carlson, nephews Peter Medley, Mark Medley, Brett Medley, Nate Carlson and Tyler Carlson.

Sharon was predeceased by her mother Barbara A. Medley, brother Howell Medley and Father Ted Medley.

A celebration of life will be held at Hilton Denver Inverness on May 25th. at 1:00pm.
