Serop D. Melkonian, beloved husband of Sabine Melkonian died peacefully in his home on January 29th, 2022 in the arms of his wife. Serop was born in 1933 in Hassake, Syria, to the late Dikran and Marin Melkonian.
Serop was a proud Armenian man dedicated to working on cars with precision. He spoke seven languages. He met the love of his life, Sabine, in January 1972 in Germany. He immigrated to the United States in 1977, where he lived in Los Angeles, California until 2005, then moved to Littleton, Colorado.
Serop had a fulfilled life. With his wife, he fulfilled his love of traveling with trips to Hawaii and back to ancestral country Armenia. He also traveled with Sabine, throughout most of the continental United States, even up to Montreal, Canada in their travel trailer.
The Celebration of Life for Serop D. Melkonian will be shared at a later date for family and friends. Serop will be interned at Forest Lawn in Southern California.
