Sean Renfro, a 15 year veteran Sergeant with the Jefferson County Sheriff's department, passed away on January 3, 2015, while helping others. He had a very strong commitment to family, never missing a single concert or football game. Not only did he attend such events but he was an active dad, coaching his youngest son's football team. He was a devoted and loving husband, son, father, and friend. Friends and family will remember his quick wit, sharp mind, unrelenting sarcasm (loved by many, but not by all) and warm personality. He enjoyed being outdoors, including hunting and competing in the Scottish Highland Games. He also had a love for writing, evidenced by his blog at http:// 828inallthings.wordpress.com/ and even wrote a book, which he hoped to be published someday. Sean was a man of strong faith who believed that there is purpose in all things. Even after the loss of his father just last year, he placed his faith in the fact that God is in control. Our family's source of strength is derived from Romans 8:28, which reads ""And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."" Sean served God through the police force, where he selflessly served his community, always showing his genuine kindness to anyone in need. He regularly donated his time to his church, his community, and even the sheriff's department. His last moments were spent in the same way; serving and protecting others. Sean leaves behind his wife, four children, mother, sister, niece and countless others. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 12, 2015, at 11 O'Clock in the Morning, Faith Bible Chapel, 6210 Ward Road, Arvada, Colorado.
