Scott Van Cleave

September 22, 1983 — February 2, 2021

Scott Daniel Van Cleave, age 37, was born on September 22, 1983, and died in his home in Colorado on February 2, 2021.

Always willing to be of service to others, he found his professional calling in property management and enjoyed working with HOA communities, especially up in the mountains.   Scott enjoyed living in many beautiful places but Colorado was always where he felt most at home.

Scott’s greatest passions in Colorado were wading backcountry streams with a fly rod in hand, snowboarding narrow tree runs in knee-deep powder, playing guitar, performing music, and keeping fit.  He was in Florida often as well and was crazy about saltwater fishing and enjoyed the beach.  His immense creativity and limitless talent shone through his artwork, music, and devotion to his family and friends. With piercing blue eyes and a warm smile, Scott’s towering persona always brought comfort and laughter to those who knew him best.

Scott is survived by his parents, Mark and Leslie Van Cleave, sister and brother in law Alisha and Neal Campbell, grandmother Sylvia Wilson and many uncles and aunts, cousins and so many, many friends.

Funeral services for Scott will be held at Mission Hills Church, 620 Southpark Dr, Littleton, CO 80120, on February 25, 2021 at 2pm. Flowers are welcome and memorial donations may be made Mission Hills Church.
