Denver

Scott Mehlhorn, 69, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, loyalty, and love. Born on May 8, 1956, at Fitzsimmons military hospital in Aurora Co, Scott spent his life dedicated to his family, friends, and a career he took great pride in—working 32 years at Wagner Equipment.

He was a man of many interests throughout the years, enjoying activities like camping, hunting, fishing, golf, cheering on the Broncos, and most importantly sharing time and laughter with those lucky enough to call him a friend or family.

Scott is survived by his wife of 44 years, Laurie Mehlhorn; his son, Corey (Ruby) Mehlhorn, and grandson, Bradyn Mehlhorn. He also leaves behind his mother, Elizabeth Mehlhorn; sister, Linda Mehlhorn; and brother, Bob Mehlhorn—as well as many extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Mehlhorn.

Scott will be remembered for his humor, his quiet generosity, and his unwavering presence. His loss leaves a hole that cannot be filled.
