Denver, CO

Scott Randolph Erb, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 56 in Denver, Colorado.

Born on September 10, 1968, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Scott’s life journey took him from western Pennsylvania to North Carolina, across the Atlantic to England, and through the plains of North Dakota before ultimately making Colorado his home.

A graduate of Central High School in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Scott was known for his sharp sense of humor, infectious laughter, and unwavering work ethic—qualities that defined him and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Scott was a long-time employee of Kiewit Construction, where he built a career marked by dedication and professionalism. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he formed throughout the years.

He was married to Christine (“Chris”) Erb for 25 years and was a proud father to his daughters, Jamie and Carlee.

Scott is survived by his wife, Christine Erb; daughters, Jamie Erb (35) and Carlee Erb (17); parents, Bernard Erb (76) and Rose Erb (74); younger brother, Jason Erb (51); and his grandchildren, Kirby Young (6) and Cannon Young (2).

Scott’s spirit lives on in his family and in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched.

A celebration of life will be held by the family in September.
