Schuyler Allen Smith, a devoted son, brother, and uncle, passed away on April 30, 2026 in Arvada, Colorado. He was born on September 7, 1968 in Littleton, Colorado to Jack Smith and Carla (Comstock) Smith. He spent his life in Arvada, where his early years helped shape his character and the person he will be remembered as.
Schuyler attended Arvada West High School and the University of Colorado, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He built a career in wholesale sales within the technology industry, where his strong work ethic and natural ability to connect with others was evident. He was known for his personality, his unique sense of humor, loyalty, and the meaningful relationships he formed throughout his life.
Schuyler enjoyed swimming, camping, tele-mark skiing, and was an avid fan of the Broncos and Formula 1 racing. He cherished time spent with friends, sharing many laughs. A dedicated and accomplished swimmer, Schuyler swam for North Jeffco Swim Team where he earned numerous awards over the years. He swam Masters later in life, qualifying for and competing in several national and world meets.
Schuyler is survived by his brother, Trig Smith, his sister, Heather Callahan, and his three nephews, Tommy, Connor, and Keane. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Smith, and his mother, Carla (Comstock) Smith.
Honoring his wishes, no formal services will be held. Schuyler hoped that friends and loved ones would remember him in their own way, as a brother, uncle, and friend, and for the friendship, laughter, and kindness he shared.
Schuyler will be remembered and greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
