Sarah Ann Pape from Denver, Colorado was born on March 31, 1985 and passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 8, 2026. She was a loving beautiful daughter, sister, and aunt.

She actively participated in Lardon Hall Day Program, Lakewood Rise Above Bowling League, Special Olympics, and The Rocky Mountain Faster SEALS Camp – forming her own friendship along the way. Sarah was not one who wanted to stay home – always asking, “What is the plan?”

She enjoyed her day program, bowling, shopping, swimming, and kayaking, camping and fun in games (Casino). She loved the Rockies, Broncos, Nuggets and CSU Football. Her favorite activity was going with her dad to the Neighborhood pub – to play the Golden Tee Golf Video Games - where everybody knew her name. Everytime she golfed, all was right with the world. She traveled with her parents to the West Coast, to the East Coast, and everywhere in between. She has left a huge hold in our hearts. She is loved and will be greatly missed.

Sara is proceeded in death by Grandma Susan A. Pape, Grandpa Dr. Rev. William R. Pape, Grandma Betty A. Rood, and Grandpa Aurthur F. Rood.

Sarah is survived by her parents, John and Susan K. Pape, her sister Amie (Noah) McElroy, and her nephews Cameron, Jackson Ashton and niece Emerson McElroy and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227 at Twelve O’Clock Noon.
