Lt. Commander, US Navy Ret. Prudenso "Sam" Gallegos, 83, of Denver and Ft. Lupton passed away on October 2, 2007. Survived by his wife Jane and seven children: Michael Sharon, Ellen, Patricia, Sam, John, Paula and Christopher. Grandfather of eight: Jennifer, Rebeca, Erica, Richard, Madeline, D.J., Jacqueline, and Devin. Great-grandfather of two: Elora and Jordan. Visitation, Friday 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10:00 AM at Christ The King Church, 860 Elm St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Colorado Special Olympics or The Latin American Educational Foundation.
