Sally Anne Seier

Sally Anne Seier (72), joined the angels in heaven on February 27, 2024. 

Sally was born to Max and Marjorie Crist on December 3, 1951 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.  She graduated from Scottsbluff High School and went on to attend the University of Nebraska and Old Dominion University in Virginia.  She earned her bachelor of science degree in food science & technology from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in December of 1974.

At age 19, she met and later married her husband of more than 50 years, David Seier, and together they raised four children.

Before retiring, Sally worked as a 7th (and 8th) grade science teacher for Cherry Creek School District in Colorado where she was named Teacher of the Year in 2003.

While working full time and raising four children, Sally also earned her master’s degree in education and co-authored a published educational book. She was a favored editor to many others.

Sally was a collector of angels, Japanese glass floats, Hummel figurines and Golden Books brand children's books.

She is survived by her husband, David, her four children, Daniel (wife Christabell) of Granite Canyon, WY, Amilee (husband David) of Frederick, CO, Timothy (wife Amanda) of Englewood, CO and Crista (husband Jay) of Crested Butte, CO; eleven grandchildren, three brothers (and spouses), and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents (Max and Marjorie), two brothers (Ray and Ross) and her cousin (Carrie).
