Ryan Keith Moore

Ryan Keith Moore, 52, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly at home, surrounded by his family, on September 22, 2026.

Ryan was born on June 28, 1974, in Durango, Colorado, to Mary Nell Olson and Richard Elliott Moore. He earned his bachelor's degree in history from Southern Methodist University in 1998. He then served his country honorably as a Chief Warrant Officer 2, with tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. After his service, he pursued his passion for photography, earning a Master of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design and becoming an accomplished photographer.

Ryan was a creative thinker with a brilliant mind and a true student's love of history. A deep soul, wise beyond his years, he also had a wonderful sense of humor that could lighten any room and put a smile on everyone's face. He traveled the world whenever he could, and his Christian faith was the center of his life.

Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Richard Elliott Moore. He leaves behind a loving family: his mother, Mary Olson, of Littleton; his stepmother, Denise Mongrain Moore, of Missoula, Montana; his sister, Shannon Moore-Zuffoletto (Michael), of Parker; his half-sister, Aubrey Ashenbrenner (Joey), of Seattle, Washington; his nieces, Esperanza and Lucia; and his stepsiblings, Hans Olson of Denver, Ingrid Olson of Farmington, New Mexico, and Tora Olson of Moscow, Idaho.

Ryan will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 8. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, CO 80122. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ryan's memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the charity he chose to support
