Ruth Ann Falkenstein, age 95, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 9,2026 at her home in Denver Colorado.

Ruth was born on July 31, 1930 in Chandler Oklahoma, the daughter of Claude and Hattie Falkenstien. She was the youngest of four daughters. Her sisters, Zola Jones, Florence Evans and Bessie Oldham all preceded her in death.

She attended Chandler High School and went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University. She pursued a career in education moving to Denver Colorado and worked as a high school counselor until retirement.

She enjoyed worldwide traveling, snow skiing and Colorado Sports, particularly the Denver Broncos. She also liked spending time with friends, yardwork and her flowers.

Family members surviving are her nephews, Dan Oldham of Woodward OK, Rick Evans and his wife, Mary of Chandler OK and niece, Sue and Allan Crump of Maumelle AR.
